Plan of Salvation

*Note: The world is full of plans of salvation. Many lay their hand on the authority of the Bible, yet proclaim a  plan that is foreign to the scriptures because it adds to or takes way from  God's Divine Word. A diligent Bible student should study the entirety of the scriptures to know God's full will (2 Timothy 2.15). Avoid the error of studying the Bible through the lense of a single "favorite" verse. Likewise, avoid the error of creating a special plan by making a "mish-mash" of verses.  Consider every passage that pertains to salvation for a Christian in this age--the age of the New Testament after the cross and
Pentecost. The following is a brief listing of representative verses that lay out God's Plan of Salvation:

How do we get into  Christ? Or How do we get  saved?

Hear ~ John 5.25 (Romans 10.14 "How can  you call on Him . . .")

Believe ~ John 3.16 (Notice that "only" does not come after believe and that  do or
deed is mentioned many times thereafter. Is should important?)

What  is the only source of belief or faith? Romans 10.9-10; I Timothy  3.16

Repent ~ 2 Corinthians 7.10 (To (KJV) does not put one in or  into Christ either, but it  gets you closer.)

Confess ~  Romans 10.10 (Pay very close attention to  unto. Unto does not put you into.)

Be baptized ~ Galatians 3.27; Romans 6.4 (These are the only verses in all the Bible that tell  how to get into Christ.)
~ Matthew 16.15,16; Acts 2.38; I Peter  3.21 (Salvation requires what?) You have to be taught to miss the meaning of these verses. Unfortunately, the world is full of such teachers.
